I seem to base a large amount of characters on my friends and I think that’s a good way to be! I used to base all my female characters on myself and that didn’t end so well.
Top Hat Man = Josh Perry
This is almost entirely for looks and accent because Josh is far too sweet to be so cruel, mischievous or cunning.
Brell = Brett Ireland
Brett is someone who works so much on logic and social understanding that it makes my head spin. Made perfect sense to cast him as someone who seems to know everything.
Cable Walters = Duncan S
Duncan is essentially a jerk but parts of his personality have found their way into my steam punk captain. I think I let this happen simply to add some more depth to the character more than anything else, and I do feel that this friend is more nobel than he attempts to seem.
